The House
“Luxury is not what a thing costs. It is how long someone was allowed to take making it.”
— Founding principle, 1987
AURELLE began as a two-person leather workshop and has grown, deliberately slowly, into a house that makes bags, small goods, fragrance and watches. We still cut every hide by hand. We still turn away more work than we accept.
Our atelier employs thirty-one artisans, four watchmakers and one perfumer. Together they produce fewer pieces in a year than most maisons ship in a week — and each one is built, checked and signed as if it were the only one.
01
Fewer, better
We release a handful of designs a year and retire almost none. A piece enters the line only when we cannot improve it further.
02
Repair over replace
Every AURELLE piece carries a lifetime repair guarantee. Our restoration bench is the busiest corner of the atelier — by design.
03
Signed work
Each product is finished by a single artisan who signs it. Craft without accountability is just manufacturing.
The atelier is open to clients by appointment. Watch your commission being made, meet the artisan who signs it, and leave your initials in the guest ledger we have kept since day one.
